01^st Day : Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 o’clock in the morning, and leave for the High Atlas Mountains, the Moroccan Atlas of Sof, passing through the port of Tizi N’Tichka with stops for panoramic views and taking photos of the small Berber villages that are camouflaged in the landscape. Then we continue south to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous movies have been filmed in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penelope Cruz…etc. Free time for lunch in the city. Then we continue to Ouarzazate also known as “The door of the desert” which in Berber language means “silent or without confusion”. Here we will see the kasbah Taourirt, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco. The next place to visit is the Valley of the Roses that crosses the great palm grove of Skoura; A beautiful place to contemplate more than 700,000 palm trees and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surroundings. In this valley, damascened roses are bred for cosmetic use, such as valuable rose water. The Rose Festival is held here annually in May, it is an important museum for Moroccan culture. Finally we arrive at the Dades valley where we will spend the night.

02^nd Day : Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Camel Trek and accommodation in the Berber camp

After breakfast, we will enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Dades Valley from a strategic viewpoint in the mountains, from there we can appreciate the large number of kasbahs and the scenic characteristics of each one. A very good asphalt road leads down the valley from Tinerhir town to the gorge and then into the desert. After some stops along the way we will arrive at the Todra Gorges. The landscape is spectacular. Local people live in the area and can be seen in their adobe villages. Thanks to their rocky sides with many uneven surfaces, these gorges are popular with climbers. After a short walk through the Todra Gorges, you will have free time to have lunch in Tinejdad or Touroug and then we will continue our way into the desert to reach the spectacular dunes of Merzouga. We will take a one hour camel ride to our nomadic camp located in the middle of a sea of ​​dunes (Erg Chebbi). Before dinner we will see the sunset on top of a dune and then sleep in a tent under a beautiful starry sky.

03^rd Day  :  Dunes of Merzouga – Draa Valley – Anti Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Very early in the morning we have a “date with the sunrise”. In the middle of the desert, getting up early is a “must do” to watch the most spectacular sunrise you have ever seen on top of a dune near the camp. Then we return to Merzouga on the camels where a delicious breakfast awaits us. Once we regain our strength, we begin our last day of the trip crossing the arid pre-desert zone where we will find the “acacia”, a typical tree of these landscapes. On the way to the Draa Valley we will make some stops to enjoy the beautiful views of the river that gives the valley its name. It is the longest river in Morocco, it crosses the hole that reaches Mauritania. Our trip continues towards Ouarzazate passing through the Anti Atlas. We will have some free time to have lunch in the city and in the afternoon we will start our way back to Marrakech arriving at 8 p.m. Transfer to the hotel and end of our services.
